In the Artist’s Words

When creating an image on the theme of ‘Migration’, I wanted to express that many of us travel to new shores on the wings of wishes for a better future, elaborate yet fragile structures of hope. I wanted paper cranes to represent the care we put in building plans to settle in a new land, and how, in the face of many hardships, these plans give us the strength to carry on towards a beautiful tomorrow.
