In the Artist’s Words:

With this piece I wanted to convey the liminal space between what we understand as our reality and the virtual realities we are creating trough technologies like AI. This technologies are changing our world in ways that we’re still understanding and chances are we’ve yet to fully understand how they will redefine our lives. For that reason I also wanted the image to express both a feeling of wonder and apprehension, as an acknowledgement that behind the excitement for our future, lies a very real fear for what that future may bring.
